I was asked to sculpt a pet pig for a Christmas present. This made me nervous because there is quite a bit of difference between cute little pigs that we all imagine and the massive, hulking 150 lb pig called Mimi I had to sculpt. Of course the shape of Mimi’s body with its folds and wrinkles, especially on her face had me excited. I love creating rolls, bumps, curves! There were plenty here!
In addition to the shape challenges, Mimi’s colors would be fun to recreate as well. She is a grey/pink color with a shadow of light grey outlining the dark. White with pink undertones added to her palette. What fun!
Gotta love those jowls!!
